The dynamic face recognition gate integrates the functions of on-site face collection, identity verification, blacklist warning, etc., from reading the ID card information to on-site collection of face photos, comparison, and obtaining results, the whole process is automated, without adding peripheral hardware configuration. The operation process does not require manual intervention, and the collected information and comparison results can be uploaded to the big data collection platform in real time.

In order to facilitate passengers to enter the station, in the 2018 Spring Festival, Guangzhou Railway Station added 76 face recognition gates at the entrance. When passengers enter the station, they will see two kinds of entrance gates. There are obvious orange signs on both sides of the face recognition gate. When the face recognition gate enters the station, passengers need to put the ID card under the ticket, with the front of the ticket facing up, pay attention to the direction of the two-dimensional code of the ticket, and put the ticket and the ID card together at the gate. After that, look up at the camera. If you wear glasses, it is recommended to remove them. The station can be verified in about 3 seconds.

The new gate independently developed by Beijing Metro has added face recognition screen and palm vein scanning area. Staff said that palm vein scanning can improve the recognition, improve the accuracy of "face card swiping" and avoid wrong swiping. At the same time, this door-type gate also has a simple security check function. Passengers without packages can directly swipe their cards into the station.

The "vision" level of this gate is also improved. The overhead binocular sensor can better identify the luggage compartment and passengers to avoid "accidental injury". According to the staff, it can also calculate the height of passengers more accurately through the image, and small passengers who are less than the height of tickets need not worry about being "injured by mistake" when they pass the gate. In the future, the new gate will be promoted in the existing lines, and the internal survey has been carried out at T2 station of the airport line.
